Occult publishing house 1909/1910 (not dated but another book advertised in the back was issued in 1909 and described as 'just published'). 1st US edition, small format 8" x 5". Very early publication of Crowley's edition of the Goetia, illustrated with sigils etc. The plates are rearranged and the bulk of the text has been reset. The title page of this copy has a large blue cross drawn out on it and remains of a label on front pastedown. I was informed by the book dealer; from whom I acquired this item, that it was in the library of a Catholic instituion and this was done to indicate that it was on the index of forbidden books. Fine Condition.

A collectors 1961 1st Edition, large format (11" x 7"), with Frieda Harris designed dust wrapper, published by Thelema, xii + 219pp Frontispiece tipped in Plate of Crowley. Has errata slip by Germer which draws attention to minute typographical errors and assures the reader that the Neophyte concerned (Motta) "has been accordingly punished for his dereliction of duty". Also has the Frieda Harris designed dust wrapper which has considerable text., It is protected and has wear to corners and edges. A very good, clean, bright copy in good dust wrapper.

Has 3 plates showing pages of the original manuscript, decorated endpapers, edges of pages dyed green. Bound in green cloth gilt stamped with Crowley's signature in slipcase. xv+326pp Presents Rex Arte Regia, AC's diary of sex magic workings commencing in 1912 that is held at the Warburg Inst. in London, also his magical diaries for 1920 plus Liber Al. This copy has previous owner's address neatly blind stamped on limitation page, otherwise some marks to cloth, very good order.
